IFAT 2002 Welcomes Record U.S. Attendees

Munich — U.S. attendance at the IFAT 2002 trade show for waste disposal, recycling and environmental issues increased by 110 percent since the last show, held in 1999. Of the nearly 100,000 attendees, more than 30,000 came from 122 countries outside of Germany, representing a 75 percent increase compared with the 17,000 international visitors at the last show.
