Silver Spring, Md. — Jeffrey Morris of Seattle-based Sound Resource Management will deliver a keynote address on Feb. 7, 2005, at the Solid Waste Association of North America’s Winter Technical Symposium in West Palm Beach, Fla. Morris will discuss his recent findings on the energy conservation and pollution prevention that result from diversion efforts. The findings refute common myths about recycling, according to SWANA.

"We are delighted to have Dr. Morris speak at our event," says John H. Skinner, SWANA’s executive director and CEO. "His presentation will be a welcome addition to the ongoing discussion on how to best increase waste diversion rates."
