Jim Perry elected to chair NSWMA

The National Solid Waste Management Association (NSWMA) announced yesterday that Jim W. Perry has been elected chairman, effective January 1, 2007. Perry, who is President and CEO of Raleigh, N.C.- based Waste Industries USA, has served on NSWMA’s Board of Directors for several years. Since 2002, he has also served on the Board of Trustees of the Environmental Industry Associations (EIA), NSWMA’s parent organization.
