Genesis Equipment & Manufacturing Inc., Superior, Wis., has hired Curt Helmen as customer service manager, David Pelvere as business development manager, Kevin Rohloff as western regional manager, and Greg Walker as south central regional manager.

EggSystems, Minneapolis, has promoted Michael Crowe to group CEO and president of U.S. operations.

Harold Rouster has joined Wendt Corp., Tonawanda, N.Y., as president and chief operating officer.

Marshall Rabins, an Environmental Industry Associations (EIA) Hall of Fame inductee, has died at 79.

As president of the California-based waste hauling company Universal By-Products during the 1960s and early 1970s, Rabins was a leader among National Solid Wastes Management Association (NSWMA) members. Among those responsible for creating the solid waste industry's first national trade show in 1968, Rabins served as NSWMA president from 1968 to 1970.

Rabins sold his company to Houston-based Waste Management Inc. in the mid-1970's and continued working with Waste Management until he retired to Puerto Villarta, Mexico, in the late 1970's.

Rabins was nominated as NSWMA Man of the Year in 1975 and was inducted into the EIA Hall of Fame in 1986.
