Minnesota Agencies Call for Comments

St. Paul, Minn. — The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) and the Minnesota Department of Agriculture (MDA) are proposing to update the state's Permanent List of Priorities, also known as the Superfund list.

The agencies have proposed that the state add one site to the list and delete eight others. The site to be added is the Kettle River Co.’s Creosote plant site, Sandstone, Minn. The sites to be deleted include the Pine Lane sanitary landfill, Chisago County; Bemidji Gas Manufacturing site, Bemidji; Dealers Manufacturing, Fridley; Burlington Northern Car Shop, Waite Park; Stillwater City Dump, Stillwater; West River Parkway site, Minneapolis; Former White House Restaurant site, Golden Valley; and Control Data Corp.’s printed circuits operation, St. Louis Park.
