Washington, D.C. — The National Solid Wastes Management Association (NSWMA) has signed an agreement with Majors Explored to provide information about the solid waste industry for the firm’s Web site, which contains information about specific fields for prospective college students or those deciding on a major. For each of the 25 disciplines that are detailed on the site, 20 universities and 10 companies will be highlighted, including a national trade organization to offer a broader perspective on the field.

"Majors Explored is an opportunity for us to continue building the image of the waste industry," says Bruce Parker, CEO of NSWMA. "By presenting positive and important information about the waste industry, students may begin thinking about it in terms of career opportunities."
