NWRA CEO Recognized for Support of National Guard

Darrell Smith, President & CEO of the National Waste & Recycling Association (NWRA) was recognized for his support of the National Guard by the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve program.

“The Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) takes this moment to honor one of our true patriots, NWRA President and CEO Darrell Smith, for supporting a DC guardsman, Jonathan Taylor,” said, Diana Montoya, ESGR volunteer for the Northern Virginia area.

“I appreciate this award from the ESGR,” said Smith. We are proud to support Jonathan Taylor, a First Lieutenant in the DC National Guard. We thank him for his service to our country and his work to support the national waste and recycling industry.”
