Reality TV Show Seeks Garbage Workers

"Faking It," a reality television series on the TLC cable network, is looking for sanitation workers who "want to fake it at their dream job," according to the show’s producers. The show is "a transformational battle against the odds," according to TLC. "It tells the story of what happens when real people take up the challenge of converting themselves into someone entirely different. [The] hero/heroine is plucked from their daily lives and given four weeks to master a skill well enough to fool a group of expert judges. During the month of intensive training, top practitioners, famous in their field, mentor the faker and try their best to help them succeed.

The show is looking for someone who has wanted to be one of the following but does not have any prior experience in the fields: o catwalk model (female) o swimwear model (female) o Vegas casino hostess (female) o biker chick (female) o fashion designer (female) o flair bartender (male) o stand-up comic (male) o martial artist (male) o ballroom dancer (open) o actor (open)

A participant must be 21-35 years old and must be able to leave his or her job and family for four weeks.

If interested, please e-mail a JPEG photo of yourself along with a short paragraph that provides the following information: your name, gender, age, weight and height, address, job. Also indicate whether you could take a month away from your job to participate in the show. Finally, include a response to the following question: What do you want to fake it as (from the list above) and why?
