Farlie, Turner & Co., a South Florida-based investment bank, has hired Eugene J. Wingerter as managing director. Wingerter has 35 years of experience in the waste industry, including 22 years as executive director and CEO of the Environmental Industry Association (EIA).
In his new position, Wingerter will focus on mergers and acquisitions involving waste service and equipment manufacturing companies.
Phoenix-based Allied Waste Services has hired Timothy R. Donovan as executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary.
Waste Connections of Folsom, Calif. has appointed Edward E. Guillet, SVP of human resources for the Gillette Global Business Unit of the Proctor & Gamble, to its Board of Directors.
Waste Services of Burlington, Ontario, has named Edwin D. Johnson as its new CFO and executive vice president.
