On April 15, Keith Foster, the founder of Keith Manufacturing and its related companies, passed away. A memorial service was scheduled for April 29 at the company's headquarters in Madras, Ore.

Chattanooga, Tenn.-based Heil Environmental has promoted David Baratti to vice president of sales and marketing. He now is responsible for customer service and a portion of global sales and marketing. Previously, he was VP, North American sales.

The Washington-based Waste Equipment Technology Association (WASTEC) has given John Wiedel of Chicago-based Accent Wire Products, its Employee of the Year Award in Engineering.

WASTEC also has named Dan Tunnell of RJM Waste Equipment Technology in Easley, N.C., the winner of the Employee of the Year Award in Sales and Marketing.

Baxley, Ga.-based IPS Balers has named Randy Hanson service manager.
