  • L&M Radiator, Hibbing, Minn., has named Rick Dezek and James Kent to sales positions. Dezek has been appointed sales manager for North America, and Kent has been appointed sales representative for the northeastern United States.

  • Stellar Industries, Garner, Iowa, has named Gary Bomstad as its first director of new product development. Bomstad's responsibilities will focus on being a liaison between the sales, engineering and R&D departments.

  • Earth Tech Inc., Long Beach, Calif., has named Georgia Perkey chief information officer. Perkey will report to Jeff Kissel, Earth Tech's chief financial officer.

  • Vermeer Manufacturing Co., Pella, Iowa, has appointed Steve Heap managing director of Vermeer International. Heap has been with the company since 1996.

  • Veit & Co. Inc., Rogers, Minn., has named Todd Tharaldson trucking general superintendent. Tharaldson will be responsible for managing trucking and materials.

  • Autocar, Hagerstown, Ind., has appointed Joe La Spina executive director for sales of Autocar Truck.

  • Heil Environmental Industries, Chattanooga, Tenn., has named Buck Buchanan director of key accounts. Buchanan joined the company as account manager for Allied Waste Industries Inc., Scottsdale, Ariz., in 2001.

  • Link Manufacturing, Sioux Center, Iowa, has promoted Jim Huls to general manager. In addition, Claude Gozia has been promoted to general manager at Maintainer Corp. and Tim Draftz to chief financial officer and chief information officer. The company has hired Jeff Nibbelink as engineering supervisor.



Kirk Hansen has joined the Independent Mitigation and Cleaning/Conservation network's national office in Chicago. He has been named vice president of Insurer Relations. Hansen previously served as claim manager for Waste Management Inc.'s Oak Brook, Ill., office.
