  • The Environmental Industries Association (EIA), elected Charles C. Appleby as the newest member of its board of directors.

  • Advanced Disposal Services, Jacksonville, Fla., announced the following promotions: R. Mark Odekirk to district manager of the Atlanta market; Michael Cosman to district manager of the Montgomery, Ala., and Auburn-Opelika, Ala., markets; and William R. Williams to general manager of the Augusta, Ga., and Aiken, S.C., markets.

  • A.R.S. Refuse Service, Archbold, Ohio, promoted Chris Cote to vice president of sales and operations.

  • Keep America Beautiful, Stamford, Conn., named Barry Caldwell, senior vice president of government affairs and corporate communications for Waste Management, as its new chairman.
