Solid Waste Operations Manager

Salary: $81,420 - $100,524 annually, plus excellent management benefits package. Summary: Reporting to the Director of Environmental and Public Works Management, the Solid Waste Operations Manager plans, directs and manages the staff and operation of refuse collection and disposal, beach and street cleaning, and recycling. Requires: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration or a related field. Four years of operational and administrative experience in the solid waste field. Must have experience in solid waste technology and environmentally-sensitive programs and services. At least two years of experience must have included supervisory and management responsibilities. Possession of a valid class C driver license. Applications: Available beginning September 9, 2002.
