Sarasota County, FL Agrees with New Franchise Haulers in Waste Collection Agreement

Sarasota County, FL Board of County Commissioners has approved new franchise hauler contracts for garbage, recycling, and yard waste collection for the county.

The changes will affect residents living in unincorporated Sarasota County and businesses operating in the same area. The changes will not affect residents and businesses operating in the cities of Sarasota, Venice, North Port, of the Town of Longboat Key.

Waste Pro of Florida will be serving the Solid Waste North District, while FCC Environmental Services of Florida will be the new franchise hauler for the Solid Waste South District.

New technology included in the contracts will give residents a smoother, more customer service-oriented experience.
