By now, everyone's familiar with hidden cameras at traffic lights. You speed through at a red light, a little camera takes a picture of your license plate and then you get a ticket in the mail. Now, residents in Australia have one more kind of camera to look out for: trash cameras. Local governments there have started hiding traffic cameras inside empty garbage carts, apparently to be a little more covert about capturing traffic offenses on camera.
Hopefully no one is actually putting trash in the carts — how dare anyone actually use a garbage can for, well, garbage!
