We recently reported on coffee grounds' potential as biofuel. But what about the cup that coffee comes in? Fast Company reports on efforts by Starbucks -- both philosophical and logistical -- to better manage the tidal wave of paper cups that the coffee purveyor sends to landfills.
While more sustainable, recyclable or compostable cups are certainly a good thing, The Heap still believes the best way to get your coffee is in a reusable mug.
