Washington, D.C. -- Steven J. Shimberg has been named associate assistant administrator for enforcement and compliance assurance for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). President Bush also has announced his intention to nominate John Peter Suarez as assistant administrator for enforcement and compliance assurance.
