Suarez Named EPA Assistant Administrator

Washington, D.C. — The U.S. Senate has confirmed John Peter Suarez as the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) assistant administrator for enforcement and compliance assurance. Suarez previously served in New Jersey as a federal prosecutor, special assistant to the director of the Division of Criminal Justices and director of the state’s Division of Gaming Enforcement.
