1. WM Demonstrates Positive Outlook Following Strong Q2 2022 Earnings

On July 27th, Waste Management released results from the second quarter of the fiscal year. Due to pricing results and sustainability contributions, a revenue of over $5 billion was achieved for the first time in the company's history. “Our strong start to the year gives us confidence," commented president and CEO Jim Fish.

2. GFL Sees 2022 Q2 Revenue Grow 40.4 Percent from Previous Year's Quarter

Ending the fiscal quarter, GFL Environmental noted experiencing a 40.4 percent revenue increase compared to the second quarter of 2021. This significant growth is thanks to the company's Solid Waste and Environmental Services department, which saw tremendous success this quarter. The company celebrates its business model's success while inflation rises.

3. Heritage-Crystal Clean Reports Record-High Net Income of $21.1 Million in Q2

Heritage-Crystal Clean Inc. announced a 39.7 percent increase in net income between Q2 of 2021 and Q2 of 2022. Different sectors of the company experienced different results this quarter with the Environmental Services sector taking a small decline in revenue growth and the Oil Business segment leading substantial growth. President of the company Brian Reccatto is looking forward to next quarter in which an acquisition deal is expected to be completed and strengthen results in that quarter's results.

4. Casella Boosts Full-Year Guidance Following 31.4 Percent Q2 Revenue Growth

Reporting on results from the second quarter of this fiscal year, Casella Waste Systems, Inc. announced revenue of $283.7 million. This is up by 31.4 percent when compared to the same quarter of last year. "These guidance ranges assume a stable economic environment through the remainder of the year, including the current historically high inflationary environment" CEO John W. Casella highlighted.
