  • The National Truck Equipment Association, Farmington Hills, Mich., has updated its Web site, www.ntea.com. The site now includes economic forecasts.

  • Caterpillar, Peoria, Ill., has revamped its Govbidspec.com Web site, which helps governmental buyers build requests for proposals.

  • The Construction Materials Recycling Association, Eola, Ill., has created a Web site, www.drywallrecycling.com, that focuses on how to recycle gypsum wallboard.

  • Cover-All Building Systems Inc., Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, has launched a new Web site, www.coverall.net.



Correction

  • In “Making It in the USA” (Waste Age, January 2005, p. 28), the location of Onyx North America's headquarters was incorrectly listed. The company's headquarters is in Lombard, Ill. Waste Age regrets the error.



Clarification

  • In “Saving a Slope Failure” (Waste Age January 2005, p. 20), the landfill's ownership may have been unclear. Waste Management Inc. acquired the Crossroads Landfill in Maine after the landslide occurred. Waste Age regrets any confusion.

  • Heil Environmental, Chattanooga, Tenn., has been awarded a U.S. patent for its Python automated arm.

  • Wastequip, Cleveland, Ohio, has opened an aftermarket parts business in Piedmont, S.C., called Parts Place. The company will sell replacement parts for waste and recycling equipment.

  • Peterbilt Motors Company, Denton, Texas, is offering a revolving-credit Visa version of its TruckCare card. To apply, call (866) 438-6262.

Prior to joining Penton, Stephen worked as a reporter for The Marietta Daily Journal and The Fulton County Daily Report, both of which are located in metro Atlanta.
