Kathy Whitman, sales manager for Mid-Atlantic Waste Systems, Easton, Md., has received the annual Special Governor's Award from the National Solid Wastes Management Association (NSWMA). The award is presented to association members who have performed a noteworthy service to NSWMA and the waste industry.
