Each year, Waste Connections puts on a golf event to raise money for charity and brings in more than $1 million from its sponsors. Angel Reach, a nonprofit focused on the needs of youths who have aged out of the foster care system, recently received a donation from Waste Connections for $100,000.

The donation will go towards the construction and operation of transitional living facilities as well as meals, counseling, education, transportation, advising, and other programs to help abused and neglected children.

“For the past several years, our vendors, employees, and volunteers have come together to support this event, raising essential funds for numerous worthwhile organizations.
