Republic Services Named to Barron's 100 Most Sustainable Companies List 39023

Republic Services, Inc. announced that is has been recognized on the first-ever Barron’s 100 Most Sustainable Companies List. The company is the only recycling and waste services company to be included in the list.

This is a collective effort to do what's best for our communities, customers, employees, shareholders and the environment—without exception, without fail.”

The list was compiled with assistance from Calvert Research and Management, an investment advisory firm with a great deal of familiarity with sustainability. More than 300 different indicators were studied in order to come up with the 100 finalists.
