Waste Today Compiles First Top Haulers List

The list is an attempt to quantify mergers and acquisitions changes and track the top companies based on their revenues.

Waste Today magazine has compiled its first Top 40 Haulers List that features the largest waste hauling companies across both the U.S. and Canada.

Waste Today said it compiled its Top Hauler List by combing through public records, sending a survey to companies in its database, attempting to reach new companies through its websites and speaking with industry analysts. Rankings are based on the largest revenues of 2018 from waste management companies in North America.

In the past few years, merger and acquisition (M&A) activity has transformed the sphere, absorbing companies that were once large players and bloating those at the top with healthy revenue growth.

Waste Today’s inaugural Top Hauler List is an attempt to quantify those changes and track the companies still on top based on their revenues. Along with national players, our list features some of the top regional haulers across North America.
