For 2024, Waste Pro is projecting it will award more than $1.1 million via its Safety Awards Program to its drivers and helpers.
So far this year, Waste Pro has awarded nine drivers and helpers throughout the month of January, totaling $110,000.
“It is an honor to recognize these drivers and their commitment to keeping our communities safe,” said Vice President of Safety and Risk Romeo Vellutini.
Waste Pro began the program in 2004 and has awarded over $8.6 million to Waste Pros who have met the specified requirements.
“Showcasing value and our commitment to our Waste Pros is more important than ever. When my father started our Safety Award program, it allowed us a path to reward our hard-working frontline employees who demonstrate the commitment to safety and service that we pride ourselves on offering in the communities we serve,” said President and CEO Sean Jennings.
Last year, Waste Pro awarded a total of $800,000 to drivers and helpers for committing to safe driving practices while serving communities in the Southeastern United States.
