Portland Glass Recycling Plant Agrees to Install Air Pollution Control Technology

After receiving numerous air quality violations, a recycling facility in Northwest Portland has agreed to implement new air pollution control systems.

In order to control and reduce nitrogen oxide and sulfur dioxide emissions, the plant will be installingĀ a catalytic ceramic filter. This filter is expected and required to reduce the facility's emissions by 95%.
