Two medical waste companies have formed a partnership to expand their services.

MedClean Technologies Inc. is joining with Triumvirate Environmental to provide onsite integrated medical waste disposal and document destruction technology and services to build upon the existing program and compliment Triumvirate’s hazardous waste management and disposal services, the companies said in a news release.

The agreement’s structure allows both companies to collaborate on and target their integrated technology and services to Triumvirate's customer base that now includes 25 of the 26 largest health organizations in the northeast United States.

Triumvirate has the option to offer medical waste disposal onsite, or create off-site processing centers and services to hospital clients with the MedClean System that complements Triumvirate’s hazardous waste management and disposal business, said Dave Laky, president and chief executive officer of MedClean Technologies.

"Triumvirate is excited about its partnership with MedClean Technologies as we add another dimension of service and disposal to our comprehensive waste management strategy," said John McQuillan, president and chief executive officer of Triumvirate Environmental.

MedClean provides onsite technology for the treatment and disposal of medical waste and the destruction of confidential documents and related media. Triumvirate specializes in consulting, waste disposal, engineering and remediation.
