Cohen Recycling Inc. Considers Acquisition of 100-Year-Old Mindlin Recycling

Cohen would clean up and upgrade the existing property and create a green recycling center that benefits both the environment and the community it serves.

Middletown, Ohio-based Cohen Recycling Inc. recently made a presentation to the Franklin (Ohio) City Council about its plans to acquire 100-year-old Mindlin Recycling.

Cohen told the City Council that it will clean up the existing property, create a green recycling center that benefits both the environment and the community it serves and upgrade the facility with new fencing, paint, landscaping, signage, street sweeping and other repairs.

A 100-year-old family-owned recycling business in Franklin may be acquired by another family-owned recycling business.

Middletown-based Cohen Recycling Inc. made a presentation to Franklin City Council Monday about its plans to acquire Mindlin Recycling, 666 Riley Blvd. in Franklin.

Cohen Vice President Geoff Rosenberg told council that it would need to obtain a use agreement for a portion of right of way from the city where the Mindlin business currently operates on.
