Soft-Pak Acquires FASTPace Trash Software

Soft-Pak Software Solutions, an operational software solution for the waste and recycling industry, announced its expansion by acquiring FASTPace Roll Off Software on October 31. The acquisition includes all software, clients and employees related to FASTPace Software.

According to the company, the acquisition will provide value to the existing FASTPace users, as Soft-Pak plans to immediately add services and infrastructure reliability to the proven FASTPace SaaS solution.

“Soft-Pak is experienced in operating and running reliable cloud solutions for waste haulers, and FASTPace clients will quickly benefit from our experience and investments,” said Brian Porter, president of Soft-Pak, in a statement.

FASTPace has been servicing waste operators for 25 years. “FASTPace was developed for the Roll-Off, Asset Rental and Tractor Trailer Industries and has been committed to those markets since our founding,” said Scott Emon, founder of FASTPace, in a statement. “The time has come to retire and hand the business off to the next generation who can take the product and deliverables to the next level. I know all the software players, and when it came time to transition FASTPace, Soft-Pak was an easy decision.”

“I want to thank Scott for entrusting his operation, employees and clients to the Soft-Pak family,” added Porter. “As a leader of operational software for waste haulers, Soft-Pak will continue to support the existing product while offering additional features to modernize and create efficiencies for FASTPace users. FASTPace has a committed customer base that is growing as the roll-off market expands. We look forward to supporting them.”
