Plastic Waste Chokes Ghana

GRIPE, an international consortium of companies Such as Coca Cola, Unilever and Danone, recently hosted a recycling buyback in Ghana.

However, efforts made by large corporations have been questioned as West Africa struggles with plastic pollution. With rivers, streets and beaches overflowing with plastic trash, residents are struggling to move about their communities safely.
