Sacramento, Calif. — The California Air Resources Board will vote next Thursday on "a far-reaching measure that would put a five-minute limit on the smelling idling of hundreds of thousands of diesel trucks and buses statewide," according to the San Franscisco Chronicle. The paper reports that "the proposed anti-pollution rule would apply to bout 409,000 heavy diesel vehicles on streets and highways, including Greyhound and transit buses, food delivery trucks and garbage collectors, whether they are owned by public agencies or private businesses."
