Washington — Waste equipment companies will be able to meet with U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC) officials at WasteExpo 2005 to discuss export issues. DOC environmental technologies commercial specialists from five different countries — Bulgaria, China, the Dominican Republic, Guatemala and the United Arab Emirates — will be available for free one-on-one meetings on May 3rd and 4th.

Advance registration is required, and the appointments are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Appointments can take place either at a company’s booth or at the International Business Center.

Please submit your advance registration at www.buyusa.gov/eme/waste.html. Be sure to indicate any specific country needs and/or questions you have. If you register online now, the specialists will be better prepared to focus on your needs during the meeting. For additional information, contact Bill Cline of the DOC’s Commercial Service’s Environmental Technologies Team at (775) 784-5203 or e-mail him at [email protected].
