The Minneapolis-based Electronic Manufacturers Recycling Management Co. (MRM) has reached an agreement to provide drop-off services at 35 Goodwill locations across 15 counties in central Texas.

"MRM is pleased to work with Goodwill in central Texas to provide consumers with convenient recycling opportunities," said David Thompson, president of MRM, in a press release. "MRM continues to focus on enhancing the environmental sustainability of individual company brands and product offerings through convenient, environmentally sound and efficient recycling."

MRM, in its second year of operation, is a joint venture between Panasonic Corp. of North America, Sharp Electronics and Toshiba America Consumer Products to serve the needs of electronics manufacturers who will be responsible for take-back of products under new e-waste recycling laws.
