Container Lid
Impact Plastics
Impact Plastics, Elgin, Ill., has introduced the Double Impact container lid, a front load lid for commercial haulers and waste service providers. A second layer of plastic is fused into the back 3 in. of the lid's hinge line to eliminate ovalizing and splitting on the hinge line holes, and to increase container lid life, the company says. The lid rod can slide into place using a rod guide that is included in the hinge line. Lids are manufactured with a specialized UV package mixed into the plastic to protect the plastic molecules from the effects of harsh climate extremities. The lids come with a five-year warranty.
