NSWMA addresses impact of rising fuel costs on waste industry in new white paper

The National Solid Wastes Management Association (NSWMA), Washington, has released a new white paper addressing rising fuel prices and their impact on the solid waste industry. According to the report, titled “Rising Diesel and Commodity Prices Mean Higher Garbage and Recycling Costs,” the solid waste industry spent more than $2 billion on diesel fuel last year.
