Agru America, Kingwood, Texas, manufactures high-density polyethylene (HDPE) Microspike liners using a process that creates a rough surface out of the actual lining material. The resulting profile has a regular series of small spikes integrated with the base liner material for landfill lining and capping, the company says. The Microspike, also available in low-density polyethylene (LDPE), has smooth edges to enable wedge welds to be made between adjacent sheets, according to the company. Features include standard 29-inch-diameter rolls with two slings each, special roll lengths available upon request, and a 40-foot standard container and 48-foot flatbed, each with a 12-roll capacity.
