BioMagic, Newport Beach, Calif., manufactures BioMagic 500, a bio stimulant to eliminate airborne odors associated with solid waste. According to the company, BioMagic 500 provides nutrients that stimulate aerobic bacteria, which allow the waste to decompose odorlessly. The chemical may be applied to large areas using the company's Micro Vapor technology, which uses an air blower to project a diluted mist. A tank, pump and misting nozzle also may be attached to collection vehicles and deployed during the compaction cycle.
