Bandit Industries, Remus, Mich., manufactures the Model 4680 Beast Recycler. The unit has a 45-inch (in.) by 63-in. wide opening and can process up to 600 cubic yards (cu.yds.) per hour. Available in towable or self-propelled configurations, the unit has the option of diesel engines ranging from 760 to 1,000 horsepower (hp.) The cuttermill can cut, split and grind, which breaks down larger material more quickly and uses less energy and fuel, the company says.

Caster wheels are included on the floor-running pit lifts for movement anywhere in the pit. These lifts can be stored when not in use. The rail-mounted lifts are manufactured for pits with cracked or uneven floors. With a similar design as the floor-running model, the rail-mounted lifts move along a rail system that is placed at the bottom of the pit. Suspended pit lifts can move along rails that are installed at the top of the pit. The line also includes needle roller bearings to slide the lift into position, the company says. Additional features include adapters for using the lifts as service or removal tools for various vehicle components.

The unit is intended to create a one-stop, one-drop piece of equipment that will reduce fuel costs by eliminating the calls to two separate businesses, the company says. The system is available with a 2007 Peterbilt 335 truck and also includes boxes that are manufactured by Wastequip with the attached toilet manufactured by Satellite Tufway. Lockable storage boxes can be used in place of the attached toilets.
