Recyclemania 2007 boasts record participation

This week marks the beginning of Recyclemania, an annual event in which colleges and universities compete to recycle the most material in a range of categories. This year’s field includes a record 201 schools in 42 states and the District of Columbia. The 10-week contest began on Jan. 28 and will run through April 7.
