Washington, D.C. – Recycling groups are keeping an eye on two pieces of legislation expected to debut in Congress this week. The Greening the Government Act and one e-waste bill, H.R. 5158, are recycling bills led by Rep. Mike Thompson, D-Calif., Sen. Tom Harkin, D-Iowa, and Rep. Sam Farr, D-Calif. Thompson has gained bi-partisan support for the e-waste bill and is currently seeking additional sponsors.
