Portland, Ore. — The sixth national Green Power Marketing Conference, held from July 30 to Aug. 1, will discuss letting electricity consumers purchase power from renewable energy sources such as landfill gas. The event was organized by the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Edison Electric Institute (EEI).
