Due to the damage caused by Hurricane Katrina, the U.S. Composting Council (USCC), Holbrook, N.Y., has moved its annual conference and trade show from New Orleans to Albuquerque, N.M. Despite the relocation, the original dates of the conference—Jan.22-25, 2006—will remain intact. According to a USCC press release, keeping the original conference dates prevents the reorganization of speakers, seminars and workshops, and enables the event to proceed as initially planned.

For additional information about the conference, visit the USCC Web site at www.compostingcouncil.org.
