Waste Industries Reports Second Quarter Revenue Increase

Waste Industries USA, Raleigh, NC, has reported second quarter revenues of $85.9 million, an increase of $3.6 million from $82.3 million in 2006. The net income for the quarter is $6.1 million, which is down from $6.8 million in 2006.

For the year, the firm has reported a net income of $11.7 million on revenues of $167 million, compared to $10.2 million on revenues of $161 million in 2006.
