Waste Management Makes "Best Workplaces For Commuters" List

Houston — Waste Management, Houston, has made the Washington, D.C.-based Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) recently released "Best Workplaces for Commuters" list. The list of 69 companies recognizes employers "for their environmental commitment to reducing air pollution and their role in easing traffic congestion caused by so many vehicles on our nation’s roads," the EPA says. The companies that are on the list "are leaders in offering superior commuter benefits, such as subsidized transit or vanpool passes, telework programs, or shuttles, to their employees."
