Waste Management Names New CEO

Houston -- Waste Management Inc. has named David P. Steiner CEO. As part of a succession plan developed two years ago, Steiner will replace A. Maurice Myers. Steiner previously was WM’s chief financial officer. Robert G. Simpson, the company’s president of taxation, will replace Steiner as CFO.
