Waste Management Teams With LG

Houston-based Waste Management has launched a national e-waste recycling program with Seoul, Korea-based LG Electronics USA. Customers can drop off their unwanted electronics at the 160 eCycling centers. The companies expect to have centers in all 50 states by September.

“Our program encourages consumers to dispose of unwanted electronics in an environmentally responsible manner,” said Teddy Hwang, president, LG Electronics USA, in a press release. “[The program] reflects LG’s global sustainability initiative that also encompasses energy conservation, reduction of hazardous substances and responsible product designs,”
