Ishpeming Moving to Dual-Stream Recycling System

The city of Ishpeming is preparing to start its dual-stream recycling once the new year hits, but residents got a chance to try it out beginning December 14.

The dual-stream system has residents break down materials into two categories, rigids and fibers. Rigids are things like plastic, metal and glass while fibers include papers, magazines, and cardboard.
