Roanoke City Hopes to Ramp Up its Recycling Program

The City of Roanoke is hoping to save green by urging residents to go green.

Solid Waste Manager Skip Decker briefed city council this morning on what's called single-stream recycling.

Single stream recycling would mean every resident gets a new, blue trash can where they can put all recyclables.
