Donald Giannini, a 51-year-old resident of Santa Rosa, Calif., has been arrested for allegedly striking an acquaintance with a metal pipe during an argument over recyclable metals. The victim was treated for a “significant laceration to the head” at Petaluma Valley Hospital and released, while Giannini was booked into the Sonoma County Jail in lieu of $385,000 bail.

A Santa Rosa man hit an acquaintance with a pipe during a dispute over recyclable metals, according to the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office.
Donald Giannini, 51, of Santa Rosa, was arrested Sunday on suspicion of felony assault with a deadly weapon and battery causing great bodily injury, Sgt. Spencer Crum said. He was booked into the Sonoma County Jail in lieu of $385,000 bail.
