Texas Sanitation Worker Bonds with 3-Year-Old Boy

A sanitation worker in Sherman, Texas, has formed a special friendship with 3-year-old Tatum Jaye, a local resident and a huge fan of garbage trucks. Recently, the sanitation worker invited Tatum to take a look inside the garbage truck, making his day.

A City of Sherman worker took time out of his trash pickup route Wednesday to make one very special stop.

Putting the garbage out is just another weekly duty for most, but it's a time 3-year-old Tatum Jaye looks forward to each week. He loves playing with his toy garbage trucks, but on trash day each week, he watches his favorite toy come to life.

"I love garbage trucks," Tatum said.
